Terms of Service

Applies to Sweep (iOS) and Sweep Companion (macOS) · Effective August 29, 2026

1 · The service

Sweep is a local photo-sorting tool: swipe judging, batch cleanup, and lossless archiving to your own Mac. The apps run on your devices; no cloud storage or cross-device account service is provided.

2 · Free and paid tiers

The free plan includes a 50-photo daily quota and core sorting features. Sweep Pro is unlocked via in-app purchase:

Auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly / yearly): payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Lifetime unlock (non-renewing): pay once for permanent access to all Pro features available at purchase, plus regular updates. Future major modules beyond regular updates may be priced separately, without affecting what you already own.
Upgrade SKUs: active subscribers may upgrade to Lifetime at a discounted top-up price; after upgrading, you may cancel the subscription and keep Pro forever.

Payments, refunds and invoices are handled by Apple. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3 · Your data, your call

Your photos stay on your devices. Deletion is protected by a two-step review and the system's 30-day Recently Deleted window, but it is ultimately performed at your direction — please review carefully before confirming. Photos purged by the system after 30 days cannot be recovered by us. Only archive to a Mac that you own or are authorized to use.

4 · Disclaimer

Sweep is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the apps; our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.

5 · Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; material changes will be flagged in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
